Uncertainty doesn't mean you shouldn't try to plan for what you want. If you have a plan and take action, there is at least a chance you'll succeed. If you do nothing then your options are truly limited.

I don't want people to forget me. What if... I chose to live somewhere else after Camp-- if I'm even allowed that option-- and I get there, and... no one knows me?

If you remember, there's a chance they would, as well. But as a precaution you could bring proof; pictures or a token that means something to them.

I don't know, but if it were me, I would want to know if there was a significant part of my life I didn't remember. Memories are important.
